As the founding Managing Director of India’s first Credit Bureau, CIBIL (now TransUnion CIBIL), he played a pivotal role in building Credit Bureaus and developing credit scoring systems in India and internationally. He has served as President – Financial Infrastructure & Credit Bureaus at Dun & Bradstreet (SAME) and also consults with the World Bank Group (WBG) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) on credit information initiatives in emerging markets. Satish founded Athena Advisors with deep expertise in the retail lending industry and has been instrumental in conceptualising and implementing models that enable institutions to improve decision-making and strengthen portfolio quality. Under his leadership, the organisation has reinforced its position as a trusted partner.
